B4 Your Session

Paperwork

Before starting individual psychotherapy, and after you sign up, you’ll need to complete some initial paperwork that you will receive via email or the portal. It is required to have completed this 24 hrs before the session.

This usually takes around 20 minutes to an hour, depending on how much detail you choose to share. If you are filling this out for your child, please have them complete the relevant questionnaires. You can always add to or update your information later—or remove anything you no longer wish to share.

As part of the process, you’ll be asked to review and sign a few important agreements, set up how payments will be handled, and provide any information that will help us best support you in your sessions.

The First Session

Your first session will be a little longer than usual because we’ll take time to review your paperwork together, make sure everything is set up financially, and talk about expectations. From there, we’ll start getting to know the world you live in—your experiences, your goals, and what brings you to therapy—so we can begin our journey together.

“Whatever your story is, there is a way to more peace and stability; your actions can make all the difference.”
